Škála pro hodnocení zvládání dovedností osob s mentálním postižením

Abstract

The goal of the project was to identify a useful scale for assessing changes in the in- dexes of adaptive behaviour of people with intellectual disability and adapt it for use in the Czech language and in the Czech environment. The diagnostic instru- ment chosen for transformation was the scale of mastery of skills produced by the authors Whelan and Speake (1979). On the basis of the principles of translation- retranslation including a pilot study, a scale in Czech and adapted to Czech condi- tions was formulated for assessment of mastery of skills in three areas of adaptive behaviour: self-help, the social-educational field and the field of interpersonal re- lations, specifically with parents and others in close contact with the people with intellectual disability. Currently the scale is suitable for clinical purposes and can be valuable in rating the effects of intervention programmes of an educational or leisure character.

Cílem projektu bylo zajistit vhodnou škálu pro hodnocení změn v ukazatelích adaptiv- ního chování osob s mentálním postižením v českém jazyce a v českém prostředí. Zvoleným dia- gnostickým prostředkem pro transformaci byla škála zvládání dovedností autorů Whelan a Speake (1979). Na základě principů translace-retranslace včetně pilotní studie byla formulována škála pro hodnocení zvládání dovedností, která umožňuje hodnotit tři oblasti adaptivního chování: so- běstačnost, oblast sociálně-vzdělávací a oblast mezilidských vztahů, a to rodiči či dalšími osobami v úzkém kontaktu s osobami s mentálním postižením. V současné době je škála vhodná ke klinic- kým účelům a může vypovídat o efektech intervenčních programů vzdělávacích či volnočasových.
